Caravan hire

The water, gas and electricity are included.

Yes we take a swipe of your credit card on arrival for security or a £50 cash deposit. It makes it faster and more convenient for you on checkout if you provide a credit card for pre-authorisation.

No. Unfortunately we cannot accommodate pets in any of our caravans. There are pet kennels nearby.

Bookings will normally not be accepted where half or more of the party is aged between 17 and 25. If this is the case you must tell us when you book. We have the right to refuse your booking.

The holiday parks on this website cater primarily for family holidays. Bookings from all female or all male parties will only be accepted at our absolute discretion. If you wish to book a single sex party you MUST inform us of this and of the ages of all members of your party at the time of booking.

If your booking is accepted we will send you a Booking Confirmation with the details of your party on it. It is your responsibility to ensure that these details are correct and tell us immediately if they are not. We reserve the right to refuse accommodation in a holiday home if your party is not the same as set out on the Booking Confirmation.

Unfortunately we do not have caravans with wheelchair accessibility within in the caravan park however, we do have a few caravans with the following: Parking outside the holiday home; Ramp to the doorway.

Visitors are welcome to the caravan however only those people listed on the booking form can occupy and stay overnight in your holiday hire home.

All of our caravan holiday homes include the following: Gas fire and colour television in lounge; Fitted kitchen with gas cooker, oven, fridge, kettle, microwave and grill; Bathroom with shower and toilet; Free gas and electricity. The 5 Star Executive/Balbirnie range also includes a DVD player.

All our accommodation provides blankets or duvets (depending on caravan star rating). However, we ask that you bring your own bed linen, sheets, pillow cases, towels and other bathroom and kitchen necessities.

All our accommodation includes a fully equipped kitchen, with cutlery, crockery and cooking implements for all guests in the accommodation.

Our holidays normally run from Friday to Friday, Monday to Friday or Friday to Monday.

All our hire caravans have a hard standing car parking space for one car. Additional cars can be parked at the main complex, which is a short walk from all our hire caravans.

In all the 2 and 3 star caravans there is a gas fire in the lounge. All the 4 star, 5 star and 5 star Executive caravans are fully central heated.

Payment

By credit/debit card: Visa, MasterCard, Delta, Maestro, Solo. We regret we do not accept American Express cards.

By cheque/postal order: Please make your cheque or postal order payable to Pettycur Bay Holiday Park or Leven Beach Holiday Park (depending where you are staying) and write your name, address and booking reference number on the back. All cheques must be received at one month prior to the start of your holiday; any holidays booked within this 1 month period must be paid in full at the time of booking by credit/debit card or cash.

Please note full payment must be made immediately if you are booking online, we do not offer a deposit for online bookings. On all other booking methods money will be due one month prior to holiday start date and we do not send out receipts for payment of final balances.

Booking

There are three ways in which you can book your holiday: Book online, by telephone or post. Our best (discounted) prices are available for online bookings. To book by phone, call our reservations team on 01592 892200. To book by post, please download a booking form. A provisional online booking will be confirmed by email and we will hold the caravan for 48 hours pending receipt of your WorldPay payment.

The main booking office is open Monday to Sunday 08.00 - 17:00. Alternatively you can book online for our best (discounted) price.

No! Unfortunately we do not accept advance reservations or bookings. Generally we have spaces at most times during the year, with the exception of Easter and Bank Holidays when we are normally full. If arriving on these dates we would suggest that you contact us on the day of arrival to check for current availability and arrange to be at the park for around 12:00 as tourers are leaving the park! If you are arriving outwith these dates you may still contact us if you wish!

You will normally receive confirmation by post within 2 to 7 working days of making your booking.

You can add more guests to your booking as long as the maximum capacity of your holiday home is not exceeded. All extra guests must be added prior to you arriving at the holiday park.

Any payments made to your holiday will not be refunded. It may be possible to postpone your holiday until a later date within the season.

You can book another holiday anytime when you are on-park; just ask at reception and they'll make the booking for you.

The Park’s main season is from the beginning of March to the end of October. The off season is from the beginning of November to the end of February (restrictions in services and access apply during off-season).

Campsite

Can I arrange for a specific space to be kept free for me?

No! We regret that it is not possible to guarantee allocation of a specific pitch. You are allocated your pitch on arrival.

When you are on a pitch you may stay on that pitch as long as required, you may extend your stay as you wish. There is a discount if you check in per week or an extra discount if you check in per month or season.

Entry to your pitch is anytime from 12:00 (noon) - 20:00.

The pitch must be vacated before 12:00 on day of departure. After this time you are still free to use the facilities on the park.

Pets are permitted in the Touring area; however they are not permitted in the Tents, even if only with visitors. Pets must be kept under supervision and on a lead at all times in public areas.

When you arrive on the park, proceed to the Touring area. Setup on the best available pitch or set your tent up at the Easterly end of the Touring area.

You can either call in at the reception to pay for the pitch and toilet access key, or wait until the touring warden calls at your pitch.

There is a parking space next to each touring pitch. Additional car parking is available.

Arrivals & departures

Entry to your pitch is anytime from 12:00 (noon) - 20:00.

The pitch must be vacated before 12:00 noon on day of departure. After this time you are still free to use the facilities on the park.

Yes holidays may be extended subject to availability and payment of the additional holiday cost.

Guaranteed check-in time into your accommodation is 15:00 on the day of arrival (subject to unavoidable delays). However you are welcome to use all facilities on the park should you arrive prior to 15:00.

You will need to show your booking confirmation sheet to check in at reception.

If you arrive late you can collect your keys from the Lounge Bar. Please note, arrivals after 23:00, the keys will be handed to the hotel reception. Please advise us at the time of booking if you intend to arrive late.

On the day of your departure we ask you to vacate your accommodation by 10:00 - you are more than welcome to use all park facilities after this time.

Facilities

All the leisure facilities have to paid for on a pay as you go basis.

Yes. It is located in the main complex at the side of the main office.

Entertainment / Activities

Most weekends we have entertainment on Friday and Saturday.

During our peak periods we have a kids club that runs through the week. For details please contact the main reception on 01592 892200.

No but all children must have a wavier form filled out by a responsible adult.
